Moose management area 6 has one of the highest density moose populations in the province according to the 2007 moose census taken by the Wildlife department.

Our lodge is located on the North side of Serpentine Lake with the Blow-me-down mountains in the background and the Lewis hills in the foreground. The Serpentine river splits these two mountain ranges and forms the beautiful Serpentine Valley which is an oasis of flora and fauna and makes an ideal habitat for moose and black bear.

Access to the hunting areas is gained on foot and also by using the serpentine river which we navigate in our 22 ft freighter canoes We have enjoyed a 95%+ success rate for the past 12 years Spot and stalk is one of the methods we use to hunt moose. We also have stands placed in strategic locations where a hunter can sit and look over some great moose country and wait for his trophy to appear.
