Newfoundland is home to some of the biggest black bears in North America. Our most successful hunt is a baited hunt which takes place in early to late June. We have great success with this hunt as our area has had very little hunting pressure for bears and the numbers are quite high.

Stands are constructed to either accommodate a rifle hunter or bow hunter and are located in dense wooded areas as bears would rather forage where there is good cover, and of course this makes for good cover for the hunter as well.
